Making Every Journey Count
Perfect Child Educational Centre is planning a fleet of buses designed around learner safety and comfort, so parents can have peace of mind on every trip to and from school. Routes and fees will be announced once the service is confirmed.

Seriously we Learn, Greater we Brighten — the words on our crest describe what an ordinary term actually looks like at Perfect Child: work that is taken seriously, progress that is measured all the way through, and learners who leave brighter than they arrived.
Class score and exam score each count for half of the term mark.
Everyday work counts here. A learner's class score and exam score each carry half of the term mark, so effort through the term weighs exactly as much as the final paper.
Creche right through to JHS, taught on Ghana's Standards-Based Curriculum and the Common Core Programme — with continuous, formative assessment rather than one high-stakes test.
Class tests, a mid-term exam and an end-of-term exam every term, across all three terms. Growth is something we can show a parent, not something we ask them to take on trust.
Career Day, sports and outings let learners try on the future they are working towards — then bring that back into the classroom as a reason to keep going.

How a year here runs
Three terms, one rhythm — and assessment that runs the whole way through rather than landing all at once at the end.
The academic year opens. Class tests start in the first weeks, so no learner waits for the exam to find out where they stand.
Mid-term and end-of-term exams — and Career Day, when learners come to school dressed as what they mean to become.
Sports, outings and the graduation of our Basic 8 learners. The last term is the loudest one.
Class score 50, exam score 50. One overall proficiency level per subject, on the same scale from Creche to Basic 8.

On Career Day our learners come dressed as the doctors, pilots, soldiers and nurses they mean to become. It is one of the days they remember longest — and it sends them back to class with a reason.
