Seriously we Learn,
Greater we Brighten.

Perfect Child Educational Centre has taught Ghanaian children since 2018, taking every learner from Creche right through to JHS. We follow the Standards-Based Curriculum and the Common Core Programme, with continuous assessment in every term — so a learner is never measured by a single exam, and no child is left to slip quietly through.

LEARN
Why we're different

Our motto isn't a slogan.
It's how we teach.

Seriously we Learn, Greater we Brighten — the words on our crest describe what an ordinary term actually looks like at Perfect Child: work that is taken seriously, progress that is measured all the way through, and learners who leave brighter than they arrived.

Continuous assessment

Class score and exam score each count for half of the term mark.

S
Seriously

Everyday work counts here. A learner's class score and exam score each carry half of the term mark, so effort through the term weighs exactly as much as the final paper.

L
we Learn

Creche right through to JHS, taught on Ghana's Standards-Based Curriculum and the Common Core Programme — with continuous, formative assessment rather than one high-stakes test.

G
Greater

Class tests, a mid-term exam and an end-of-term exam every term, across all three terms. Growth is something we can show a parent, not something we ask them to take on trust.

B
we Brighten

Career Day, sports and outings let learners try on the future they are working towards — then bring that back into the classroom as a reason to keep going.

“Seriously we Learn, Greater we Brighten.”

— Perfect Child Educational Centre, since 2018

Programs

Ages 1 to 15.
One school, four stages.

Each program builds on the last. Learners don't have to adjust to a new school every few years — they grow up here.

All programs
Stage 01
Creche
1 – 3 yrs

Lots of sensory play, singing, and practical life stuff — pouring water, buttoning shirts. They learn by doing, and they love it.

Sensory bins & outdoor play
Basic independence skills
Language through songs & stories
Stage 02
Preschool
3 – 5 yrs

This is where reading, writing and number work really take hold. Learners build concentration, work through class tests each term, and start finding their own footing.

Maths & language
Cultural studies
Art & music exploration
Stage 03
Kindergarten
5 – 6 yrs

The bridge year. Reading becomes fluent, maths gets more abstract, and learners start working on group projects that teach collaboration.

Reading fluency
Problem-solving projects
Early science experiments
Stage 04
Primary & JHS
6 – 15 yrs

Independent research, deeper thinking, and real responsibility. By the time learners finish Basic 8, they know how to learn — not just what to memorise.

Research-based learning
Leadership opportunities
GES-aligned curriculum

All programs aligned with the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum.

My son used to dread test week. Here the class score counts as much as the exam, so he stopped panicking and started working steadily. He comes home talking about what he did that day, not what mark he is afraid of.

My daughter came in shy and is now the one leading class discussions. Career Day was the turning point — she dressed as a nurse, and has talked about nothing else since. The teachers noticed that and ran with it.

We started her at Creche and never had to move her. Knowing she can stay right through to Basic 8 with teachers who already know her took a real weight off us. They care about the child, not just the marks.
